Eilean Donan Castle is one of Scotland’s most photographed landmarks, wonderfully situated on an island connected to the mainland by a picturesque bridge. With fortress constructions dating back to the 13th century, its striking appearance makes it a fantastic stop on your way to the Isle of Skye.
Be sure to take a short trek to a viewpoint behind the castle for an awe-inspiring view.
