No visit to Mostar would be complete without witnessing its iconic bridge, Stari Most. Originally destroyed during the Bosnian War, its rebuilding stands as a powerful symbol of unity—connecting the divided ethnic groups of Bosnia and Croatia. Despite its touristy atmosphere, the bridge offers breathtaking views that showcase the turquoise waters below and snow-capped mountains in the distance.
Interestingly, the travelers observed the locals who perform dives from the bridge, seemingly stalling for tips rather than plunging into the river. This unusual entertainment added a humorous twist to their visit, as they awaited a leap that never seemed to come.
