Getting to Kalambaka

The couple began their adventure by catching a train from Athens to Kalambaka, a quaint town that serves as the gateway to Meteora. They booked their tickets through Hellenic Trains, which offers a direct route that takes about four and a half hours. The train journey was comfortable, featuring spacious baggage areas and a café carriage, making it an ideal way to travel to this magical place.
