As time progressed, Zaragoza transformed under various reigns, from the Visigothic Kingdom to the Islamic Caliphate of Cordoba. Each cultural influence is evident in the city’s architecture and urban layout. A highlight of this legacy is the Aljafería Palace, originally a recreational residence for Muslim kings.
