Upon arriving in Jarbidge, visitors are greeted by a charming, albeit sparse, scene. The town contains primarily dirt roads, a couple of bars, a gas station, and a notable absence of amenities typical of larger municipalities. The town’s history speaks volumes; once a bustling gold mining outpost, it housed up to 1,500 miners during the gold rush of the early 1900s. Today, its legacy remains carved into the landscape and the few historical buildings that still stand.
