Next on my itinerary was the AVLO, Renfe's low-cost offering. Examining its modern and tidy setup, I found it surprisingly appealing relative to the more established AVE trains. The prices were notably lower, with basic tickets starting at around EUR 35, although there were limitations concerning luggage. The lack of onboard food services was a significant downside while the comfortable seats and prompt Wi-Fi service still made for a pleasant trip.

I noted that AVLO lacked a silent carriage and the entertainment app continued to give me issues. Nevertheless, it delivered a reliable travel option at a lower cost.
