Local eateries offer exceptional meals at budget-friendly prices, especially compared to more tourist-centric dining options.
Navigating the Island: Transport Essentials
Getting around Sri Lanka presents no significant challenges, with options ranging from buses and trains to tuk-tuks. While I found the train rides enjoyable and affordable, buses can feel cramped and hot, making them less favorable for travelers with substantial luggage. Renting a tuk-tuk was, in my view, the best option as it allowed us the flexibility to roam freely at our own pace.
