It all began with the launch of the iPhone in 2007, a device that melded various functionalities into one portable gadget. Initially, the iPhone allowed users to interact in ground-breaking ways, swapping physical buttons for a touchscreen interface. As its capabilities grew, so too did society's dependency on smartphones. Over the years, we witnessed an exponential increase in both the sophistication of these devices and the algorithms driving user engagement.
