A decade after graduating, clarity struck him again. He realized that work should not be the entirety of his existence; rather, it should serve as a means to an end. Work was simply a tool to enable him to enjoy life and spend time on what truly mattered to him. He understood that a fulfilling career should be enjoyable, flexible, and, importantly, supportive of other passions and aspects of life beyond the workplace.
