As we extend our timeline forward, the consequences of Earth’s expansion become more pronounced. Within a month, the Earth would have grown by 26 km, and measures of gravitational strength would also only increase by around 0.4%. Despite the increase in mass—1.2% over the same period—human beings would continue to experience drastic fluctuations in their weight. The bodily variance in weight over a day, combined with slight differences in gravity between cities, means that people would likely remain unaware of these incremental changes.
