In our reality, the Allies succeeded in storming the beaches, albeit at a great cost.
However, within the context of Wolfenstein, the D-Day invasion fails spectacularly, with the Allies suffering immense casualties, shattering trust between nations and leading to a swift German control over France. By 1946, the German military comes across the ancient Deocused Akutan Seraphim, a rich vault of power that propels their technological advancement significantly.
