Part 3/10:
Outside, I discovered a tiny guest house, water pump house, outdoor shower, and even an apple tree. I wasted no time and laid out renovation plans that included tearing down walls to create a larger kitchen, transforming the smaller room into a study, and keeping the outdoor shower for the time being.
The Initial Renovations
Upon starting renovations in August, I faced immediate challenges. The cabin had a troublesome leak, not from the main roof but from a short metal roof on the back extension. Additionally, the water supply system was not winter-ready, as the pump ran above ground to the kitchen sink.
