With my parents' help, I began tackling the first of many renovation tasks. We demolished walls, unclad surfaces that revealed the log cabin structure, and faced unexpected rot within the joists and back wall.
Facing Bigger Challenges
As I delved deeper into the renovations, it became evident that one problem led to another. Unforeseen water damage forced me to replace more structural elements than I anticipated. I learned quickly that constructing new elements was often quicker than removing the old, and with determination, I utilized salvaged timber to rebuild walls and frameworks.
