Graduating into a global crisis presented Yoyo with limited job opportunities, most of which were subsidized by the government and paid below market rates. Her first role, a traineeship, was particularly underwhelming, and after five months, it became clear that the job did not align with her creative strengths or interests.
Despite working with supportive colleagues, Yoyo found herself feeling directionless and uninspired. Each day became a struggle, leading to feelings of hopelessness. However, she reached a pivotal moment when she decided that the status quo wasn’t acceptable.
