The fallout from a potential cure may very well reveal the underlying nature of humanity when stripped of its societal constructs. The question emerges: would those who have suffered and adapted be willing to rebuild a world that many never experienced? The possibility that a cure could merely function as a bargaining chip in the political machinations of existing factions raises concerns about whether it could change anything at all.
