Although the nature of programming jobs may change, the human element remains vital. AI may accelerate coding efficiency, but an essential need for human oversight in areas like debugging, code review, and design will persist. Software engineering will evolve into a partnership between humans and AI, where programmers will be emboldened to take on supervisory roles over AI systems rather than devolving into simple code generators.
