One of the most pervasive beliefs is that investing requires significant capital upfront. Many people assume that only the wealthy can afford to invest in the stock market. This misconception almost kept me from beginning my investing journey. When I started, I was investing just €25 a week—a sum easily spent on takeout meals.
Critics often scoffed at the idea of investing such a small amount, claiming it wouldn’t make any difference. However, it did make a difference. My salary gradually increased, but I kept my investment habits the same. Investing became second nature to me, and before long, I was investing thousands every week.
