First Real Experience of Combat
The initial moments of combat are often filled with anxiety and anticipation. For a group of soldiers engaging in artillery operations, their first taste came with mixed emotions. As they navigated intense confusion amidst the chaos, they exchanged thoughts about their fears and anxieties regarding snipers and the sound of artillery overhead.
Despite the initial fears, they steeled themselves for the missions ahead, gearing up for a series of operations targeting specific trench systems occupied by Russian forces. Their terrain was formidable, dominated by extensive trench networks—two major ones being 109 and Samara—which had been heavily fortified until mostly dismantled by Ukrainian forces.
