Phase Three: The Pursuit of Getting Shredded
After five years of dedicated lifting and muscle building, the time arrived to get shredded, aiming for 8% to 10% body fat. The skills acquired over the years were put to the test with a meticulous approach to nutrition and training. Daily weigh-ins, calorie tracking, and regular exercise became part of a regimented lifestyle.
Despite successfully hitting the desired body fat percentage, the journey was fraught with unforeseen challenges. Extreme calorie restriction resulted in sustained hunger, fatigue, and a notable decline in gym performance. The effects rippled into personal life, creating irritability and decreasing overall well-being.
