A visitor, described as a "sensitive," claimed to witness spirits traversing through the library, remnants from the site’s past when it served different community functions — from a textile training facility to a World War II burn annex. Sandy humorously recalls taking advice from this sensitive: to openly address the spirits in the building. Soon after, the book mishaps ceased. Whether or not there were actual spirits involved, the change was undeniably strange.
