Part 2/21:
South Korean companies Ka and Angel Robotics have joined forces to develop a hybrid exoskeleton and wearable robot known as the Waron Suit F1. This innovative creation has two standout features: it can walk independently and attach to a person itself. Designed to aid people with paralysis in both legs, these capabilities offer significant benefits, primarily in supporting the rehabilitation process. The project, which began in 2015, has seen the device become more powerful and intelligent over time, with enhancements such as new drives and an obstacle recognition system. The team's successful trajectory is evident in their gold medal win at Cyberon, an international competition for athletes with disabilities who use assistive technologies.
