His cartel's ruthless grip on the drug trade poses daily threats to both law enforcement and rival factions, including a rising insurgent group called "Los Alvados," led by Adelita, a woman shaped by tragedy after the cartel killed her family. This group operates outside the law, utilizing guerrilla tactics to undermine the Galindo operations, thus intensifying the violence between the cartel and the rebels.
