The film opens in a housing project overwhelmed by chaos as riots erupt. The protesters, driven by desperation and anger, oppose the elite housing project planned for their land. Led by the determined elderly figure, Sumith, they challenge a government that has seized their property, selling it off to corporate giants without regard for the community's welfare. Despite the ongoing unrest that has dragged on for eight months, the Thai government appears unfazed, moving forward with plans to host international business leaders in Bangkok for an economic development conference.
