Part 7/11:
Motivated by the support of the townspeople, The Stranger takes on an uncharacteristic role of authority. In a bold move, he promotes Morai to sheriff, effectively sidelining the existing sheriff Sam. Abundant in supplies and undeterred by negativity, The Stranger begins enacting a series of reforms—distributing clothing and supplies to the impoverished locals, as well as establishing a volunteer militia trained to confront the incoming bandits.
However, The Stranger's benevolent façade begins to slip as he grows increasingly ruthless in his dealings with the townsfolk who resist him. Tensions rise, leading to debates within the Town Council regarding The Stranger’s deteriorating behavior, which sets the stage for inevitable conflict.
