At the onset of the story, we meet Michael, who spends his days honing the martial skills of his daughter, Bri. Their training is not just about physical prowess; it is laced with the memory of Bri’s mother, who passed away three years prior. Michael routinely visits her grave, aimed at integrating the memory of her mother into Bri's life to guide and inspire her as she grows.
Soon, Michael is drawn into a significant karate tournament organized by the United States government. Competing alongside vicious martial artists from around the world, he showcases his exceptional skills and ultimately claims victory. However, amidst the celebration, he makes the solemn decision to retire from fighting, choosing to focus solely on running his dojo and nurturing Bri’s potential.
