Part 2/7:
As Erica and David walk through the park, they become separated from Curtis, who runs off. The couple’s playful stroll quickly spirals into chaos when they discover Curtis being held captive by three thugs. In a desperate attempt to save their dog, they find themselves at the mercy of the attackers, who violently assault them, leaving them unconscious in the process.
Both Erica and David are rushed to the hospital, where they later awaken to the terrifying reality that David has succumbed to his injuries. This devastating blow transforms Erica into a shell of her former self. Upon her recovery, she returns home, haunted by memories and overwhelmed by an overwhelming sense of loneliness and paranoia.
