Scars, tattoos, and metal pierce his skin, and phrases like “embrace” and “suck” adorn his brows. Absorbed in despair, Kyle realizes he must now navigate life in his new skin.
The Lonely Struggle
As weeks go by, Kyle finds himself isolated from his former life and enters a world where he feels invisible and misunderstood. His father, afraid of being seen with his son, retreating into his own problems. Zola becomes his only companion, and despite the comfort she offers, the bond feels strained.
