After eight grueling years of labor, the team finally launches the Cosmic Striking Hammers, celebrating what they hope will be a significant victory. But their triumph soon turns to tragedy when a solar storm diverts one of the missiles, sending debris careening toward their base. With only 27 minutes to evacuate, chaos ensues, and Yue, absorbed in his own world and music, fails to receive the evacuation alerts. As he rushes to escape, he realizes he is too late, and the evacuation rockets leave without him. Left behind on the Moon, Yue faces an onslaught of destruction as asteroid debris rains down, annihilating the base and ushering him into an excruciating solitude.
