We soon learn that Cooper is not just any father; he is the infamous serial killer known as “the Butcher.” While Riley dances and enjoys the show, Cooper's dark indulgences and hallucinations of his mother index a spiraling descent into madness.
The tension unfolds further when Cooper eavesdrops on police chatter regarding his own crimes, all the while trying to maintain a facade of normalcy for Riley's sake. Employing various ruses and manipulations, Cooper aims to thwart the investigators, all while escalating his meticulous observation of the venue's exits and comprising a backdrop rife with police activity.
