These criminals, known as "loopers," are tasked with disposing of their victims by sending them back to 2044, where they are eliminated. Upon completing their gruesome jobs, these loopers are rewarded with payment in silver bars, stashed in their victims’ bodies. Yet, this contract comes with a fatal catch: when a looper survives long enough to reach 2074, they are sent back to be killed by their younger selves, a process chillingly termed "closing the loop." This twisted exchange is signed off in gold bars, marking the conclusion of a cruel cycle of violence.
