Part 8/10:
As the Nostromo faces self-destruction, each surviving member grapples with their mortality. The crew's attempts to confront the alien become increasingly desperate and chaotic, resulting in the loss of Lambert and Parker. Ripley, now a solitary figure driven by survival instinct, ignites the self-destruct sequence while facing not just the alien but the horrifying realization of her fallen crew.
The psychological turmoil and visceral horror culminate in Ripley’s race against time. After encountering Dallas in a horrific form, she takes the final steps to ensure her escape from the doomed Nostromo, confronting the malevolent alien one last time on the escape shuttle.
