Despite his reluctance, Ophir and Keziah train him in the ways of combat, introducing him to blessed objects that can harm demons. As the years progress, Adam grows exponentially stronger and more adept at fighting the demons that continuously pursue him, undergoing countless battles that hone his skills.
However, as centuries pass, the world changes around him. When Adam returns to the city, he is astonished by the modern landscape yet remains haunted by the unending chase of demons seeking retribution for Victor's transgressions.
