However, lurking within him is a growing sense of unease and an overwhelming change, paralleling his mother’s crisis.
One evening, a powerful storm strikes, depriving Emile of his sense of safety. His life unravels further when he gathers fragments of horrifying truths—a crash involving a mutant-transporting ambulance in a nearby lake, resulting in casualties of other mutants including potentially his own mother. Disturbed, Francois tries to maintain hope, meticulously hanging clothes in the woods to guide Lana home.
