The Brothers emerge not as monstrous creatures of the night but as an advanced version of humanity. Raised from infancy within the Church, they are rigorously trained and bonded by the oaths of priesthood, their existence placed solely to guide humanity in its struggles against the plagues. Their life is one of discipline, and they nourish themselves only on voluntarily donated blood. However, the births of these Brothers have seen a troubling decline, with only male Brothers appearing for over a century.
