Part 2/8:
Among these repo men is Remy (portrayed by Jude Law), a skilled worker tattooed with his profession. The film opens with a scene illustrating his efficiency: he interrupts a man's intimate moment to collect a due artiforg, executing his duty without hesitation. Despite the dark nature of his job, Remy finds moments of normalcy with his family, particularly with his wife Carol and son Peter.
Life quickly reveals itself as a double-edged sword for Remy as he appears to struggle with balancing his obligations to The Union against his desire for a peaceful family life. His friendship with Jake (Forest Whitaker), a fellow repo man, exhibits camaraderie yet reflects the moral conflicts they face in their careers.
