Struggling to cope with the shock of loss and intense trauma, David experiences vivid nightmares and hallucinations. Despite the doctors' reassurances of his stability, he is plagued by dark visions, including disturbing dreams of running through the forest as a wolf, foreshadowing his impending fate.
