The next morning leads Ben to investigate the water tank after discovering concerns about the water quality. It is during this search that he unexpectedly finds an unusual creature, identifiable by neither him nor Jules. They speculate it might be amphibian larva, but curiosity drives them to take it back for further examination. Meanwhile, tedium gives way to dread as Rhea becomes alarmed when glancing into the water tank, seeing something monstrous stirring within.
