Part 2/7:
Stacy's husband, Keith, a mustachioed cop, dismisses her fears, attributing her sensitivity to her longings for intimacy. His lack of concern highlights the loneliness and desperation Stacy feels, especially when she overhears her co-worker Gina gossiping about beauty standards, feeling overshadowed by Gina's social femininity and the group of beautiful women.
Yet, to her excitement, Stacy receives an invitation to Gina's Secret Santa party, an opportunity to step out of her self-imposed isolation and experience the allure of the beautiful people she envies. As she prepares a taxidermied duck as a gift for Gina, she feels a glimmer of acceptance.
