Part 2/9:
Barney's recollections reveal a nightmarish sequence of events at a local bar where he fell prey to devious scheming. A Thai woman had lured him into consuming an alarming amount of alcohol, paving the way for her accomplice to rob him blind, leaving him abandoned and battered on the streets. Stripped of his possessions and with no monetary means, Barney turns to the local police officer, Pong, who offers a fraction of support: a letter and a minuscule sum of cash to cover bus fare. With nowhere to go, Barney finds a resting place on the street, his future uncertain.
