Part 3/9:
As the scene transitions, the story shifts to a rural house in Kentucky, where a man has taken multiple women and infants captive. The FBI, led by Agent Kurt Weller, swoops in for a rescue operation. After a successful clearance of the house and saving the victims, Kurt is soon airlifted back to New York to assist with Jane’s case.
At the FBI headquarters, Agent Bethany Mayfair briefs Kurt on Jane’s background. It becomes apparent that she has undergone an experimental treatment with a drug called Zeta Interacting Protein (ZIP), designed to selectively reduce traumatic memories. However, Jane’s overwhelming exposure leaves her with extensive memory loss. When Kurt discovers a tattoo of his name on Jane, it raises more questions about her past.
