Back at the company, things take a turn for the worse when Norville's well-intentioned but misguided directions lead to the launch of a product based on his “circle” concept. This product, humorously branded as the hula hoop, initially flops despite its playful nature. However, children's spontaneous fascination with the toy sparks an explosive trend, sending sales through the roof and vaulting HUD Sucker’s stock price skyward.
