As the school gears up for a competitive test, Elizabeth finds herself in an unexpected position where her bad behavior may reward her financially. To secure the five thousand dollar prize, she decides to teach her students seriously, just weeks ahead of the examination. This new approach leads to some genuine academic improvement among the students.
Desperate not to lose the competition, Elizabeth resorts to cheating. She seduces a state professor, Carl, to gain access to the test questions, only to deceive him further by drugging him and stealing the answers. This darkly comedic ploy allows her to achieve short-lived success as her students excel.
