Though Wendy's newfound confidence seems empowering, it sets off a chain reaction that draws her into darker experiences. As she and her co-worker Elmar, who has also developed powers, engage in morally ambiguous acts such as robbery and violence against aggressors, Wendy grapples with the moral implications of their actions.
