Part 3/9:
In an effort to cope with her emotional pain, Hunter's behavior begins to shift dramatically. After receiving a thoughtful gift from her mother-in-law about postpartum depression, she becomes inspired to make an impulsive decision: swallowing a small marble. Surprisingly, this act offers a fleeting sense of relief and transformation, sparking a compulsive urge to consume inedible objects. Despite the discomfort and shame this behavior brings, Hunter increasingly succumbs to swallowing everyday items – developing a condition known as pica, a psychological disorder characterized by the compulsion to eat non-food items.
