To revive Lou’s spirits, Nick and Adam plan a trip to the Kodiak Valley Ski Resort, a nostalgic location brimming with memories of their youth. Upon arrival, however, the resort is a dismal shadow of its former self, highlighted by a comical encounter with a belligerent bellman and a surprise discovery of a dead raccoon in their hot tub.
As the friends settle in, an exhilarating night in the hot tub takes a turn when they inadvertently spill an illegal energy drink known as “Chernobyl” onto the controls. The next morning, they awaken to bizarre surroundings dripping with 1980s pop culture—only to realize they’ve somehow traveled back in time. This revelation is marked by an encounter with a mysterious repairman who warns them about the dangers of altering their past.
