Part 2/9:
The narrative kicks off with an elderly woman caring for roadside beggars. Unfortunately, her son is soon attacked by a creature with blue skin, later revealed to be the consequence of a failed forbidden soul-shifting experiment by the Demon Slayer, Jang Kang. Though the mother pleads for help to restore her son, Jang ultimately casts the creature, now devoid of energy, into the ocean, turning it into a rock. This action sets the tone for the moral complexities that will arise as the story unfolds.
