Part 3/11:
After landing on Pandora, Jake attends a military briefing led by Colonel Miles Quaritch. The colonel warns the crew about the dangers of the Na'vi and the toxic atmosphere of the planet. Jake soon encounters biologist Norm Spellman, who introduces him to his avatar, which operates as a vessel for him to explore Pandora while avoiding the planet’s toxic atmosphere. During this initial learning phase, Jake discovers that when connected to his avatar, he can walk again—an exhilarating experience that momentarily distracts him from his human life's limitations.
