Part 3/7:
The narrative then shifts back to April 8, 2008, where a high school girl named Han Mina arrives home during a rainstorm to find her father brutally murdered. The unraveling of her father's murder draws parallels to Mark's own childhood trauma, as he too lost his father under tragic circumstances. Each discovery leads to more complexity as Mina’s father's murder weapon—a necklace from her mother's jewelry box—is later found in Mark's deceased father's belongings.
Fast forward to 2020, the scene of another grisly murder unfolds where skeletal remains are discovered at a dilapidated train station. Here, as forensic teams piece together the puzzle of these decomposed remains, parallels link Mina's father to a larger series of murders. This development only thickens the plot further.
