Miles's acumen as a con artist, adept at navigating the criminal underworld, allows him to gain respect among the police force. He quickly elevates his standing within the department, ultimately being offered the position of head of the burglary division. His priority remains retrieving the diamond, but a flood in the police station's duct system complicates matters.
