Part 6/9:
Recognizing his son’s alarming trajectory, Pavel becomes determined to reform Grisha. He consults an eccentric psychologist, Arnoldovich, who proposes a radical and immersive experience to induce personal growth. The plan ultimately leads to Grisha’s disappearance into an elaborate set designed to replicate 19th-century Russia.
As the film progresses, it becomes clear that this project is a calculated attempt by Pavel to instill discipline and perspective in his son by subjecting him to the very life of the people he has always looked down upon.
